- In the next paragraph, you have to choose whether we parse the printed material into copies or not. In the first case, if you print several copies of the same document, all sheets will be printed immediately in order: the first copy, then the second, and so on. In the second case, the printer will print all copies of the first sheet of all copies at once, then the second, and so on. This option is especially useful if the user is printing many copies of the document, and makes it much easier to sort its elements. If you print one copy, then this setting is absolutely unimportant for the user.
- A very important setting is "Orientation". This field determines whether printing will be in portrait or landscape orientation. In the first case, the height of the sheet is greater than its width. In landscape orientation, the width of the sheet is greater than the height.
- The next field defines the size of the printed sheet. The choice of this criterion, first of all, depends on the size of the paper and on the capabilities of the printer. In most cases, the format is used A4. It is set to default settings. But sometimes you have to use other available sizes.
- In the next field, you can set the size of the margins. The default value is "Regular Fields". With this type of settings, the size of the top and bottom margins is 1.91 cm, right and left - 1.78 cm. In addition, it is possible to set the following types of field sizes:

- In the next field, the scaling of the sheet is configured. The following options are available for this option:
- Current(print sheets with actual size) - by default;
- Fit sheet to one page;
- Fit all columns on one page;
- Fit all lines on one page.
- In addition, if you want to set the scale manually by setting a specific value, but without using the above settings, you can go to "Custom Scaling Options".

- With any of the above actions, a transition occurs to a window called "Page settings". If in the above settings it was possible to make a choice between predefined settings, then the user has the opportunity to customize the display of the document as he wants.
In the first tab of this window, which is called "Page" You can adjust the scaling by specifying the exact percentage, orientation (portrait or landscape), paper size, and print quality (default 600 dots per inch).
- In the tab "Fields" fine-tuning the margins. Remember, we talked about this possibility a little higher. Here you can set the exact, expressed in absolute values, parameters of each field. In addition, you can immediately set the horizontal or vertical centering.
- In the tab "Headers and Footers" you can create headers and footers and customize their location.
- In the tab "Sheet" you can configure the display of through lines, that is, lines that will be printed on each sheet in a specific place. In addition, you can immediately configure the order in which sheets are output to the printer. It is also possible to print the sheet grid itself, which is not printed by default, row and column headings, and some other elements.
- Once in the window "Page settings" all settings are completed, do not forget to click on the button OK at its bottom in order to save them for printing.
- Back to section "Seal" tabs "File". The preview area is located on the right side of the window that opens. It displays the part of the document that is output to the printer. By default, if you did not make any additional changes in the settings, the entire contents of the file should be printed, which means that the entire document should be displayed in the preview area. To verify this, you can scroll the scrollbar.
- After the settings that you consider necessary to set are indicated, click on the button "Seal" located in the same section of the tab "File".
- After that, the entire contents of the file will be printed on the printer.
There is also an alternative option for printing settings. It can be done by going to the tab "Page layout". Print display controls are located in the toolbox "Page settings". As you can see, they are almost the same as in the tab "File" and are governed by the same principles.
To go to the window "Page settings" you need to click on the icon in the form of an oblique arrow in the lower right corner of the block of the same name.

Above, we looked at how to set up printing of a book as a whole, and now let's look at how to do this for individual elements if we do not want to print the entire document.

If you print now, the picture will be printed cropped on the right and bottom. At the same time, significant areas will remain clean on the left of the sheet and at the top. This does not suit us. What to do?
Procedure:
1. Select in the main menu: "File" - "Page Setup ...".
2. In the Excel "Page Setup" window that pops up, configure the "Page" tab as shown in the picture below. The main thing we do is select the orientation of the paper and give the command: place the range of cells we need on one sheet of paper.
3. In the same window, go to the "Margins" tab and reduce the top, right and bottom margins. Here you can also center the print area horizontally and / or vertically, but we will not do this in our case.
4. In the "Page Setup" window on the "Headers and Footers" tab, you can create a header and / or footer by selecting text from the drop-down list or writing your own original.
5. Go to the "Sheet" tab and set the print area. To do this, “become a mouse” in the “Print range” field and select with the mouse on the sheet the area of cells B2-L59, inside which the picture is completely placed. The range we need is automatically entered into the field.
Here you can organize the printout of the document along with the grid, with row numbers and column letters, with cell notes and error representations in an acceptable appearance.
6 . Click on the "OK" button - the page parameters are set.
7. Again, select in the main menu: "File" - "Preview" and make sure that the picture is placed on the sheet in the best way.
8. Next, select in the main menu: "File" - "Print". We select the printer, set the required number of copies. If everything suits you, you can print the selected area in Excel. To start the process, just click the "OK" button.
In conclusion, one piece of advice: if you want to print several different ranges of cells on different sheets of paper in Excel, then it is not necessary to do this sequentially.
